Beiträge zur Ultraschallmesstechnik in Flüssigkeiten
The first part of this paper describes a new form of microphone for point-to-point probing of ultrasonic fields in liquids at frequencies above 100 kc/s.
The second part is concerned, as an extension to the previous work of Hertz and Mende ]1/, with the conditions for Langevin's formula for acoustic radiation pressure. It is shown that the introduction of the ultrasonic generator causes the density of the liquid in the sound beam to rise, following on the inflow of liquid from outside into the sound beam.
