Direct β-Iodination of Ketones Induced by Aqueous Hydrogen Peroxide
A mild and effective method was developed for direct α-iodofunctionalisation of ketones using elemental iodine activated by 30 % aqueous hydrogen peroxide in the presence of acidic catalyst.
