Parasitoids (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea) reared from galls of Giraudiella inclusa (Frauenfeld, 1862) (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae) on Phragmites australis in Kent, England
Giraudiella inclusa (Frauenfeld) (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae) induces galls in stems of Phragmites australis in wetland habitats. The parasitoid community (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea) associated with the galls was studied in Kent, England. Nine species of Chalcidoidea were
identified. This rich community forms an important part of the biodiversity of stands of P. australis.
