Free Content The Occurrence of Skeletonema Costatum (Bacillariophyceae) in the Gulf Stream and Sargasso Sea

Although the diatom, Skeletonema costatum, is usually absent from samples taken in the open ocean, it has been observed in modest numbers 500 miles from the east coast of the United States.
