The Growth, Breeding Cycle and Food of the Flyingfish Parexocoetus Brachypterus Hillianus (Gosse)
Parexocoetus brachypterus hillianus (Gosse) occurs commonly in the coastal waters of Barbados, W.I. It is a fast growing species which reaches maturity in one year. Breeding takes place from September to the end of December. It is a plankton feeder.
