Free Content The Species of Oysters of the Gulf, Caribbean and West Indian Region

There are species of all three living genera of Ostreidae in the Gulf and West Indian region. They are Pycnodonte thomasi, Ostrea equestris, O. frons, O. permollis, Crassostrea virginica, and C. rhizophorae. This paper provides a general overview of all these species.
