When in Chicago for the National Neonatal Nurses Conference, who better to tap for excellent education than local experts such as renowned researcher and speaker Dr. Robin Steinhorn. Dr. Steinhorn is the Head of the Division of Neonatology and Professor of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and practices at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She is board-certified in neonatal-perinatal medicine, has received a number of honors and awards including the AHA Established Investigator Award, and was named one of the “100 Women in Chicago Making a Difference.” Dr. Steinhorn has published widely on topics related to management of the neonatal pulmonary vascular system, persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn (PPHN), and chronic lung disease.
