Focus on the Brain, Parts 1 and 2

Focus on the Brain, Parts 1 and 2, is a two-DVD set created for health care professionals who work with preterm infants in the intensive care unit. Part 1 is about the science of preterm infant brain development, and Part 2 delineates clinical practices for developmentally supportive care. The DVDs present a convincing connection between fetal/neonatal brain physiology and daily NICU caregiving practices to make the point that developmental care makes a significant contribution to brain function well beyond infancy and childhood.
