A Day in the NICU: Finding the Strength to Make a Difference

THIS MORNING AS I DRIVE TO work, I find myself praying for everyone I will encounter today. My prayer is that I will make a difference in their lives—whether I am interacting with a peer, a family in crisis, or an infant struggling to survive. I hope to bring words to comfort, skills to heal, arms to hold, and a heart to love so that our precious babies will have a chance to be everything that their families dream they can be and that they would know the purpose of their creation.
