Las Vegas Meeting Setting New Attendance Records
It is clear that this year's National Meeting will set a new attendance record for a national neonatal nurses meeting. Attendance has already surpassed expectations and the meeting has more than 1,400 paid registrants. If you include the 6th National Mother Baby Meeting that is being held concurrently, and it looks like more than 2,500 nurses, faculty, and exhibitors will be at the Las Vegas Hilton for this year's meeting. With six preconference workshops attracting nearly 500 nurses and almost sixty workshops to choose from during the afternoon sessions, this meeting is striving to meet the needs of the broadest spectrum of NICU nurses. The exhibit hall is close to being sold out as exhibitors have shown strong support for the Academy. Of the 140 booths available, more than 118 have already been taken. We expect in the next few weeks that many of the remaining booths will be taken by nurse recruiters who often sign on at the last minute.
