Academy Reaches Out to Other Nursing Associations

Last month, The Academy sent out letters of introduction to all national nursing associations introducing ourselves, our goals and objectives, and a profile of our membership to these associations. Our goal in doing so was threefold. First, we wanted these associations to be aware that there is another professional neonatal nursing association in existence. Second, we wanted to offer our assistance in any way we can to work with other associations to promote the profession of nursing and any programs that would benefit the nursing profession. And finally, we wanted these nursing associations to realize that there is a neonatal nursing association that they can contact when they have questions concerning all aspects of neonatal nursing.
