Lebensweisen in Stadtquartieren ressourcenschonend und nachhaltig zu gestalten, war das Ziel des Verbundprojekts Lebensqualität, Teilhabe und Ressourcenschonung durch soziale Diffusion von Suffizienzpraktiken in Stadtquartiere (SuPraStadt). In Reallaboren in Heidelberg, Dortmund und Kelsterbach wurden Suffizienzansätze wie gemeinschaftliches Wohnen, Nahmobilität und nachhaltige Ernährungspraktiken erprobt. Eine Toolbox mit praktischen Anleitungen für Bürger(innen), Quartiersmanager(innen) und lokale Initiativen unterstützt die Verbreitung der Ansätze, um Suffizienz im Alltag erlebbar und für Kommunen anwendbar zu machen.
