Welche Themen und Forschungsfragen soll die gesellschaftsbezogene Nachhaltigkeitsforschung aufgreifen? Das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung hat im Förderschwerpunkt Sozial-ökologische Forschung (SÖF) einen Agendaprozess initiiert, in dessen Verlauf Fachleute aus Wissenschaft, Zivilgesellschaft und Praxis die Zukunftsthemen für die SÖF ermittelt haben. Die 14 Themenfelder bieten dem Ministerium eine gute Basis, die nächsten Forschungsschwerpunkte festzulegen.

    Environmental problems cannot be solved by one academic discipline. The complex natures of these problems require cooperation across disciplinary boundaries.     GAIA is an ISI-journal, listed in the Science Citation Index Expanded, Social Science Citation Index and in Current Contents/Social and Behavioral Sciences.

    All contributions undergo a double-blind peer review.
