Mid-career faculty are tasked with becoming the next generation of faculty leaders and mentors with minimal support and limited opportunities for professional growth and mentorship (Baker et al., 2019; Hamilton, 2022). To support mid-career faculty, the Office of Teaching and Learning (OTL) developed the University Teaching Leadership Fellows (UTLF). This cohort-based program offers a professional development community, a formal educational leadership role, and funding to engage in impactful and meaningful scholarship to improve teaching and learning. This article outlines the UTLF structure and activities, demonstrating how this program advances mid-career faculty as educators, scholarship of teaching and learning scholars, educational leaders, and institutional change agents.
