Contract Assignments (CA) have been used as an integral part of CA learning contracts and adult learning on the Post-graduate Certificate of Education and Cert Ed (PGCE/Cert Ed) courses at the School of Education, University of Wales, Cardiff for three years. A recent qualitative study has highlighted the positive effects CA has had on students’ professional and personal development as potential teachers of further, higher and nurse education.
