Cette étude se propose, d'une part, de déterminer comment le « séisme » des présidentielles françaises fut perçu en Irlande et, d'autre part, d'analyser en quoi certains des thèmes-clés véhiculés
à la suite du résultat du 21 avril 2002 en France ont pu servir de plate-forme de réflexion sure des notions de coopération européenne et de démocratie lors des législatives du 17 mai 2002, et au-delà.
