Open Access Les Chansons de langue française au Pays Basque à la charnière des XIXe et XXe siècles

Les recherches sur les chansons pour voix et piano au Pays Basque espagnol entre 1870 et 1939 permettent d'en identifier un certain nombre écrit en français ou en texte bilingue, français-espagnol ou français-euskera. Cette étude aborde les diverses raisons — exigence artistique, mais aussi fuite politique ou sociale — de la présence de la langue et de la littérature françaises dans les chansons basques.
