Open Access Lire le monde intérieur: la représentation du geste chez Hugo et Flaubert

A travers une lecture des Misérables et de L'Education sentimentale, apparaît le contraste entre la gestualité chez Hugo, marquée par une continuité avec l'esthétique sentimentale de la fin du XVIIIe siècle, et la représentation du geste chez Flaubert traduisant une mise en question de la capacité du physique à renvoyer à des réalités intérieures.
