Dramaturge Irena Štaudohar writes of her experiences collaborating with director and architect Matej Filipčič, describing how the productions they worked on together – Interiors (2000), Suspicion (2002), Sanset (2004), When It Passes (2006) – came into being. Filipčič’s performances result from the effective, mutual collaboration of the entire creative team, after which they transform – through minimalist scenography and aesthetic impeccability – into memories suspended between reality and imagination. The author also emphasizes the importance of beauty and of sentimentality.
