Self-Invention, narrative and Art: A radical evolutionary hypothesis on the narrative
Focusing on recent empirical data and theoretical perspectives derived from cognitive archaeology, cognitive anthropology, developmental psychology, and neurocognitive sciences, it is possible to propose a cross-disciplinary and radical hypothesis on the evolution of the narrative self,
in particular with reference to the narrative structures involved in the stories of the early art.
