Between the lines: The part-of-the-world-position of Heinz von Foerster
Heinz von Foerster was a wonderful loving and caring friend and teacher to me. I learned a lot from him. During our numerous conversations it was especially fascinating for me to learn about what was most central and implicit in all his actions, namely his position of considering himself
as part of the world. This position shall be illustrated by the following slightly edited extracts of our book that resulted from our conversations: Part of the World. Fractals of Ethics A Drama in Three Acts.2
