(Edited by Michael Hopkins.) Enterprise restructuring has been and continues to be an important issue for governments, international institutions, businesses and labour. Good corporate social responsibility (CSR) implies socially responsible restructuring, especially as changes in employment
during periods of recession are necessary attributes of today’s world. Better, much better, to help people in jobs than when they are on their own. Moreover, restructuring is continually in the minds of millions of employees around the world in both private and public institutions.
