Project Dirt is a social networking platform that links up over 2,000 community and environmental projects across the UK. Our core mission is to connect, promote and resource the amazing projects that are happening at a grassroots level. To achieve better resourcing of community projects, we work with companies, local authorities and third sector organizations who can utilize Project Dirt to distribute resources like volunteers, funding, equipment and event space to community projects.

We are passionate about the creation of sustainable cities. Cities are highly attractive places for people to live: the majority of the world's population already lives in cities,1 and in a few decades cities could be home to as much as two-thirds of the world's population. Whilst environmental problems, such as air pollution, drainage and sanitation, can be particularly apparent and pressing with densely populated living arrangements, cities can offer huge sustainability advantages linked to lower land consumption and shorter travelling distances. However, what we are most passionate about is the fact that cities are places where people and businesses aggregate and, as a consequence, ideas for change abound and exciting projects emerge.
