Modified Longitudinal Phonon-Plasmon Interactions in Nanoparticle Doped Piezoelectric Semiconductors
While investigating the effect due to presence of a nanoparticle within a piezoelectric semiconductor on electroacoustic wave spectrum, we found eff ective modifications in gain per radian of the acoustic wave in terms of velocity ratio ϑ

. We have used hydrodynamic model of plasma and macroscopic model of piezoelectric medium to study the longitudinal phonon-plasmon interaction in presence of a nanoparticle
within the host medium. In presence of nanoparticle the resonant frequency is found to be higher than that found in absence of it. But the crossover point ϑ
