Calculating the Impulse Response in Rooms Using Pseudo-Impulsive Acoustic Sources

This paper deals with acoustic characteristics offered by small explosions of firecrackers to be used as pseudo-impulsive acoustic sources. Temporary form, spectral power and directional characteristics of these sources are analyzed. Additionally, these sources will be used to determine some acoustic parameters, comparing the results to the ones obtained with other techniques.
