Optical Refractive Index From Ultrasonic Investigation
Ultrasonic velocities in liquids and solutions are greatly influenced by their viscosity and density. In addition, there are expressions relating the surface tension to the ultrasonic velocity. In the present investigation, an attempt has been made to determine the refractive indices of few solutions and explore the possibility of linking them with ultrasonic velocity and other related parameters. For the samples. we have considered the experimental findings throw some light on this new approach.
