A procedure for modal resonance isolation is proposed in the scattering problems of a plane acoustic wave by cylindrical and spherical shells. The modal resonance frequency and resonance halfwidth are found from the equation determining the pole of the partial form function. It is supposed that in the vicinity of the resonance frequency the shape of the modal resonance is determined by the Breit-Wigner formula. Nothing is assumed beforehand on the type of the background. The formulae are given for the description of the modal resonance contribution inserted in the form function.

Une procédure d'isolement des résonances modales est proposée, dans le cas des problèmes de diffusion d'une onde acoustique plane par des surfaces cylindriques et sphériques. La fréquence de résonance modale et la demi-largeur de résonnance sont tirées de l'équation déterminant le pôle de la fonction de forme partielle, par la formule de Breit-Wigner. Aucune hypothèse n'est faite sur le type de fond potentiel. Les formules décrivant la contribution de la résonance modale sont insérées dans la fonction de forme.
