The paper presents the mirror image method adjusted for efficient calculation of multiple reflections in the space with obstacles.

The geometrical part of the acoustical field, when noise propagates from a highway into an urban area, is described.

The procedure presented for multiple reflections is also applicable to the diffracted part of the acoustical field.


In dieser Arbeit wird die Methode der Spiegelschallquellen vorgestellt, und zwar angepaßt an eine effiziente Berechnung mehrfacher Reflexionen in einem Raum mit Hindernissen. Es wird der geometrische Teil des akustischen Feldes für den Fall der Lärmausbreitung von Schnellstraßen in ein Wohngebiet beschrieben.

Das vorgestellte Verfahren für Mehrfachreflexionen kann auch fur den gebeugten Teil des Schallfelds angewandt werden.


Cet article présente une utilisation de la méthode des sources-images adaptée pour un calcul performant de réflexions multiples dans l'espace en presence d'obstacles. On décrit la partie géométrique du champ acoustique dans le cas d'un bruit se propageant d'une autoroute vers une zone urbaine. La procédure presentée pour les réflexions multiples s'applique également à la partie diffractée du champ acoustique.
