A numerical method of evaluating the eigenfrequencies of plates is given. The plates are limited by a contour of arbitrary shape, and the boundary conditions may vary along the edge. To demonstrate the method, a number of results for mixed boundary-value- problems is shown. The possibilities of mode-shape-evaluation are discussed, and some mode-shapes for partly clamped (rectangular and circular) plates are presented.

Ein numerisches Verfahren zur Berechnung der Resonanzfrequenzen von Platten wird erläutert. Die Biegeschwinger sind durch eine beliebige Kontur begrenzt, die Randbedingungen kÖnnen ortsabhängig sein. Zur Demonstration der Methode wird eine Reihe von Ergebnissen für gemischte Randwertprobleme mitgeteilt. Die MÖglichkeiten zur Berechnung der Eigenschwingungsformen werden diskutiert, es werden einige Modenformen nur abschnittsweise eingespannter Platten für rechteckige und kreisfÖrmige Plattengeometrien wiedergegeben.

On présente un procédé numérique pour calculer les fréquences de résonance des plaques. La méthode est valuable pour une plaque de contour arbitraire et pour des conditions aux bords pouvant varier d'un point à l'autre le long de ce contour. Le procédé est illustré par une série de résultats relatifs à des problàmes avec conditions mixtes aux limites. On discute aussi des possibilités que cette methodé pourrait offrir pour évaluer la forme des modes de résonance et on présente quelques résultats à ce propos pour des plaques circulaires ou rectangulaires encastrées sur une partie de leurs contours.
