Wave Propagation in Random Participate Composites: a Modification of the Foldy-Lax Theory

A simple causal theory of the dynamic response of random composites is presented. The approach incorporates the Kramers-Kronig relations and the static bounds in the context of the Foldy-Lax analysis. Comparison with and interpretation of experiments are given.

Es wird eine einfache kausale Theorie des dynamischen Verhaltens zufällig zusammengesetzter Strukturen vorgestellt. Der Lösungsweg bezieht die Kramers/Kronig-Beziehungen und die statischen Grenzen in die Foldy-Lax-Analyse ein. Schließlich werden Experimente interpretiert und mit den Ergebnissen verglichen.

On présente une théorie causale simple de la réponse dynamique des composites aléatoires. La méthode préconisée utilise les relations de Kramers-Kronig et les liaisons statiques dans le contexte de l'analyse de Foldy-Lax. Des résultats expérimentaux sont interprétés à la lumière de cette nouvelle théorie et comparés à ses prévisions.
