This note examines the effects of texture and applied plane stresses on the acoustoelastic response in a standard polycrystalline material. An original method for the mechanical behaviour characterization of thin plates is presented. It allows consideration of the texture of the material induced by rolling without the need to determine explicitly the third order elastic constants. The theoretical model is tested in the case of experimentally applied stresses.

Cette note examine les effets de la texture et des contraintes planes appliquées sur la réponse acousto-élastique d'un matériau polycrystallin courant. Une méthode originate pour la caractérisation du comportement mécanique de plaques minces est présentée. Elle permet de prendre en compte la texture du matériau introduite par laminage sans avoir à déterminer explicitement les constantes élastiques d'ordre trois. Le modèle est testé dans le cas d'un état plan de contraintes appliquées.

In dieser Arbeit werden die Wirkungen der Textur und von ebenen Spannungen auf die akustisch-elastische Antwort eines üblichen polykristallinen Materials untersucht. Es wird eine neue Methode für die Charakterisierung des mechanischen Verhaltens dünner Platten vorgestellt. Sie erlaubt die Berücksichtigung der vom Walzen erzeugten Textur des Materials ohne explizite Bestimmung der elastischen Konstanten dritter Ordnung. Das Modell wird für den Fall eines ebenen Spannungszustands getestet.
