Stationary Part of the Fresnel Diffraction Field of two Antiparallel Sound Beams Separated in Space

The time-independent light intensity distributions in the Fresnel field of double diffraction system composed of two antiparallel sound beams separated along the illumination direction are theoretically investigated. The general formula developed allows to treat the Fresnel field of a stationary ultrasonic beam as a special case of the configuration under study. The analytical discussion for the case of small values of the Raman-Nath parameter is presented.


Die zeitunabhängige Verteilung der Lichtintensität im Fresnel-Feld zweier antiparalleler Schallbündel, die in der Beleuchtungsrichtung räumlich getrennt sind, wird theoretisch untersucht. Die allgemeine Formel für diese Schallfeldkonfiguration beschreibt auch den Spezialfall des Fresnel-Feldes eines stationären Ultraschallbündels. Die analytischen Ergebnisse werden für den Fall kleiner Werte des Raman-Nath-Parameters diskutiert.


On effectue une étude théorique des distributions stationnaires de l'intensité lumineuse dans le champ de Fresnel d'un système diffringent double composé de deux faisceaux d'ultrasons antiparallèles spatialement séparés le long de la direction d'illumination. Les formules générates obtenues permettent de traiter le champ de Fresnel d'un faisceau stationnaire unique d'ultrasons comme un cas particulier de la configuration double étudiée. Une discussion analytique est développée dans le cas des petites valeurs du paramètre de Raman-Nath.
