Relations existing between the movements of the basilar membrane and the cochlear responses to acoustic stimuli have been investigated on the basis of some bibliographic results and simple models.

The use of active processes in the models can explain some particularities of the electrophysiological responses and especially the half octave shift, the behavior of the input-output curves of the nervous fibers and of the compound action potential.


Les relations existant entre les mouvements de la cloison cochléaire et les réponses électrophysiologiques de l'oreille interne aux stimulus sonores ont été étudiées à partir de données bibliographiques et de modèles simples.

L'introduction de mécanismes cochléaires actifs dans les modèles pourrait permettre d'expliquer certaines particularités des réponses électrophysiologiques, en particulier le décalage en fréquence des ITS (Temporary Threshold Shifts) par rapport à la stimulation, les courbes entrée-sortie des fibres nerveuses et du potentiel d'action global.


Die Beziehungen zwischen den Bewegungen der Basilarmembran und den elektrophysiologischen Reaktionen der Cochlea bei Belastung durch Schallstimuli wurden auf der Grundlage von in der Literatur veröffentlichten Daten und einfachen Modellen untersucht.

Die Einbeziehung von aktiven cochlearen Vorgängen in die Modelle diirfte es ermöglichen, gewisse Besonderheiten der elektrophysiologischen Reaktionen zu deuten. Dies trifft besonders auf die Frequenzverschiebung der TTS-Werte in Abhängigkeit vom applizierten Stimulus, den Verlauf der Ein- und Ausgangskurven der Nervenfasern und das globale Aktionspotential des ersten Neurons zu.
