Geräuschmessungen an industriellen Ultraschallanlagen und Vergleich mit Beurteilungskriterien zur Vermeidung gesundheitlicher Auswirkungen

Ultrasound cleaning-, welding- and drilling-devices are increasingly used in industry and therefore the question arises how to set sound exposure limits to avoid hearing damage as well as unpleasant subjective effects. As a consequence, a lot of criteria are proposed in literature [5, 8, 9, 11–16, 19]. Since they are very different, people are uncertain which one is the best to use.

In this paper we analyze the sound measurement data of a set of ultrasound devices and compare them with known criteria. The conclusion is that the AU-weighted sound pressure level, proposed by Herbertz [8], seems to be best suited for practical application.

Zusammenfassung

Bedingt durch die immer häufiger werdende Anwendung der Ultraschall-Technologie zu Wasch-, Schweiß- und Bohrzwecken wird auch immer dringender die Frage nach der Beurteilung dieser Anlagen hinsichtlich Gesundheitsgefährdung gestellt. In der Literatur werden als Antwort darauf eine Reihe von Beurteilungskriterien vorgestellt [5, 8, 9, 11–16, 19]. Diese sind sehr unterschiedlich, was zu Unsicherheiten bei ihrer Anwendung führt.

In dieser Arbeit werden obgenannte Anlagen einer meßtechnischen Analyse unterzogen und mit den uns bekannten Beurteilungskriterien verglichen. Als Schlußfolgerung ergibt sich, daß der von Herbertz [8] vorgeschlagene AU-Pegel für die Praxis am geeignetsten erscheint.

L'usage de plus en plus fréquent des ultrasons dans les installations industrielles, et notamment pour le nettoyage, le soudage et le perçage, pose d'une manière pressante le problème de l'évaluation des risques de santé encourus par les personnels desservant ces installations.

On trouve dans la bibliographie toute une série de propositions [5, 8, 9, 11–16, 19] concernant des critères d'évaluation de ces effets nocifs. La diversité de ces critères rend leurs applications hasardeuses.

On a donc soumis divers appareils à ultrasons utilisés dans le nettoyage, le soudage et l'usinage à une analyse mètrologique systématique et l'on a confronté les données ainsi obtenues aux divers critères d'évaluation connus. Le critère qui semble le mieux adapté à l'usage pratique est celui du niveau sonore AU proposé par Herbertz [8].
