Radial Oscillations of Gas-Vapour Bubbles in Liquids Part II: Numerical Examples

In the present study the general theory for gas-vapour bubble radial oscillations presented in Part I [1] is applied to specific examples of air-vapour bubbles and vapour bubbles in water. In particular we present graphs of the response function of the bubbles and of the profiles of the various fields within the bubbles.

Zusammenfassung

In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird die allgemeine Theorie für Radialschwingungen von Gas-Dampf-Blasen, welche in Teil I vorgestellt wurde, auf spezielle Beispiele von Luft-Dampf-Blasen und Dampfblasen in Wasser angewandt. Im einzelnen werden die Antwortfunktionen der Blasen und die Profile der unterschiedlichen Felder innerhalb der Blasen in graphischer Darstellung aufgefuhrt.

La théorié générate qui avait été exposée dans la première partie de ce travail est appliquée ici à des exemples spécifiques de bulles air-vapeur et de bulles de vapeur pure dans l'eau. Entre autres résultats, les auteurs présentent des graphiques de la fonction réponse des bulles et des profils de divers champs à l'intérieur des bulles.
