Criteria of Güth and Schelleng was agreed for the occurrence of wolf-tones. A wider criterion of Güth for the flicker tendency of wolf-tones is being investigated. From this it appears that the out-of-focus relation of the bow excitation has a decided influence on the wolf formation.


Es werden Kriterien von Güth und Schelleng für das Auftreten des Wolftons verglichen. Ein weiteres Kriterium von Güth für die ,,Flackerneigung“ des Wolf tons wird untersucht. Es zeigt sich dabei, daß die Unschärferelation der Bogenanregung einen entscheidenden Einfluß auf die Wolfbildung hat.


On compare les critères de Güth et de Schelleng concernant les conditions d'apparition du «hurlement». Un autre critère de Güth, relatif à la tendance du hurlement à «vacillement» est également étudié. On montre que la relation d'incertitude concernant l'excitation de la corde par l'archet joue un rôle décisif dans le dêclanchement du hurlement.
