Etude de la diffraction par un écran mince disposé sur le sol

The use of a screen as a shield against noise prompts the definition of a characteristic magnitude, namely, its efficiency. We propose to examine whether the latter may be determinated from a two-dimensional idealization. For this purpose two methods of calculating the diffraction by a thin screen are applied to the chosen model.

The numerical results for these methods are directly compared and, as well, with experimental results obtained from a model configuration.

L'utilisation d'un écran comme structure de lutte contre le bruit conduit à définir une des grandeurs le caractérisant: son efficacité. Nous proposons d'examiner si la détermination de celle-ci lorsqu'on remplace le problème tridimensionnel rencontré, par son modèle bidimensionnel, est correcte. Pour cela, deux méthodes de calcul de la diffraction par un écran mince sont appliquées au modèle choisi.

Les résultats numériques de chacune d'elles sont comparés entre eux et aux résultats expérimentaux obtenus sur la maquette du problème envisagé.

Zusammenfassung

Die Anwendung eines Lärmschutzschirms bietet Anlaß zur Definition einer seiner Kenngrößen : seiner Wirksamkeit. Nach unserem Vorschlag ist zu prüfen, ob diese Größe dadurch richtig bestimmt werden kann, daß man das vorgegebene dreidimensionale Problem durch sein zweidimensionales Modell ersetzt. Hierzu werden zwei Methoden zur Berechnung der Beugung an einem dünnen Schirm auf das ausgewählte Modell angewandt.

Die numerischen Ergebnisse für jede Berechnungsart werden miteinander und mit experimentellen Ergebnissen verglichen, die an einem Modell des ins Auge gefaßten Problems erhalten wurden.
