On Models of Loudspeakers with Conical Diaphragm

The authors propose the representation of the conical diaphragm loudspeaker by an admittance type of analogy, valid in a frequency range extending up to the appearance of nodal circular lines. This representation obtained from the theory of shells, takes into consideration the deformation of the diaphragm and the influence of acoustical loading, but does not assume any particular hypothesis for the form the peripheral suspension.
