Theory of Sound Propagation in Channels with Right-Angled Corners and T-junctions
The characteristics of sound propagation in rectangular channels with right-angled corners and T-junctions are dealt with far above the cut-off frequency. For various ways of excitation (e.g. 0,0-, 1,0-modes of excitation and such an excitation through which the output in all modes,
which can propagate themselves undamped, is equally distributed) the reflexion factor ϱ and the transmission factor τ are calculated up to the f
4,0-frequency limit. The calculations are carried out respectively with various channel surfaces.
