The Propagation of Elastic Waves in a Circular Cylinder with Excentric Bore

An investigation on free harmonic waves in a hollow endless long circular cylinder with an excentric bore has been made. For the general case (when restrictions on the extent of the excentricity are not necessary) the problem is reduced to the solution of an endless linear system of algebrical equations concerning amplitude coefficients of the free waves. The determinant of this system gives its own wave spectra in the model under discussion. The results are compared to the case [1], [2] of propagation of free harmonic waves in a hollow infinitely long circular cylinder.
