Ultrasonic Relaxation Study of Ionic Dissociation Equilibria in Salts and Complexes
From ultrasonic relaxation studies, the rate of ionic dissociation and other reaction parameters are evaluated in aqueous solutions of the salts – cadmium bromide, nickel acetate, diammonium phosphate – and the complex ions – copper ammonium sulphate and potassium
ferricyanide. The values so computed and those obtained by other methods of study are discussed.
