The Influence of Clothes on the Sound Absorption of Single Persons
The sound absorption of people is in the low-frequency range being almost completely caused by their clothes and is nearly equal for female and male persons wearing bathing costumes. For other comparable dressing the absorption of women is smaller than that of men. The greatest difference in absorption of single persons is found between male people wearing a suit and female people wearing a frock.
