Ein Ähnlichkeitsgesetz bei der Streuung ebener Wellen an Zylindern komplexer Wandimpedanz
The directional pattern of the sound field or of the electromagnetic field at the surface of a cylindrical scatterer with a complex surface impedance is determined not only by the ka value but also by the value of the impedance. For plane wave scattering there exist curves in
the upper impedance plane along which the directional patterns are, within narrow limits, identical, except for a constant level difference. As the parameter governing these curves the depth of the shadow was chosen. Generally, the curves are sections of circles of which the position of the
centres and the radii are given.
