Messungen zur Schallabsorption von Personen auf ungepolsterten Stühlen

The sound absorption of single standing or sitting persons was measured in the completely diffuse sound field of a reverberation room. Also measured was the absorption of an area covered with persons sitting in rows on wooden chairs and the additional absorption of persons sitting in a gangway. The sound absorption of persons sitting in rows on wooden chairs and of musicians increased by their instruments was measured at lower diffusities in larger rooms.
