Differential thresholds for frequency have been measured on one ear while stimulating the other ear by an unvarying tone. These thresholds are very significantly greater, when the tones on the two ears are of the same frequency; but they do not seem to vary, or vary only a little, when the tones on the two ears are very distant, except for some subjects whose thresholds are very significantly smaller. Comparisons are made with the differential thresholds for intensity measured in the same conditions.
