Über ein einfaches Funktionsschema des Gehörs

A simple system is described which simulates the essential functions of the ear, when these are known from subjective measurements. This working system is realised by means of electrical circuits. The most important features (frequency-space-transformation, logarithmic representation, selectivity increase, pulse-frequency modulation) are indicated together with their characteristic properties. Possible applications of the working systems are discussed.
