Zur Bestimmung des Freifeld-Übertragungsmaßes von Kopf-hörern

The free-field response of an electrodynamic receiver, type Beyer DT 48, for frequencies 80 c/s to 12 kc/s has been determined by two subjective methods. With the recently often-used monaural method, values in the range 80 to 4000 c/s obtained with this type of receiver were about 6.5 dB down on the binaural method. For the range 80 to 1000 c/s it is shown that in using the above-mentioned type of receiver the monaural method may give unreliable results.
