The binaural and monaural thresholds of audibility have been measured on 100 male and female students with a Békésy-audiometer. The resulting average threshold as well as the limiting curves below which are less than 10% and more than 90% respectively of all test results are given and compared with the results of other authors. Only in the frequency range below 500 c/s, the binaural thresholds run a little deeper than those for monaural listening. Above 500 c/s the two ears are at the threshold of audibility alternatingly.
