Electronic tuners for musical pitch

The stability of electronic oscillators has surpassed the accuracy of mechanical tuning devices; especially in respect to temperature variations the electronic oscillators can be given almost a completely stable frequency. Even with great limitation in circuit parts and costs, the constancy of the frequency can be made better than that of a steel tuning fork. Nowadays simple electronic devices can be made according to the international standard of musical pitch.
