Über die Möglichkeit der Zerkleinerung suspendierter Stoffe durch Ultraschall

The destructive action of ultrasonic waves on aqueous suspensions of chemically inert, inorganic particles is investigated, especially with respect to its dependence on the properties of the sound field and of the suspensions. With the apparatus described best results are obtained with a frequency of 500 kc/s and concentrations of about 0,002 g cm ⁻³.
